NEW BRIGHTON FIRE BRIGADE ANNUAL DANCE.
The twenty-fourth annual dance of the New Brighton Volunteer Fire Brigade was held in the Pier Ilall last evening. The hall was tastefully decorated in the brigade’s colours, cardinal, red and blue. Among those present were representatives from the Christchurch, Sumner, Kaiapoi, Rangiora t and Geraldine Brigades. The music was supplied by Mr Reg Woods’s Orchestra and Foreman J. F. Stokes was M.C. Tho commit tu»© responsible for the arrangements were Superintendent W. IT. Stc.kes, Foreman J. F. Stokes and junior Foreman C. R. \\\ 11. 1 Davey. ,
