COLERIDGE LEVEL IS WELL MAINTAINED.

” he level of Lake Coleridge is being well maintained, and to-day’s reading was 1667.35 ft, compared with 1667.625 ft last week. Compared with the position a year ago, when the level of the lake was falling at the rate of over an inch a day, the latest reading is very satisfactory. At the end of August last .year, the level had dropped to 1658 ft, •and it was necessary to practice severe economies in the use of electricity.
