CHEESE INSTRUCTORS TO HOLD CONFERENCE
(Special to the “ Star.”) WELLINGTON, August 5. According to a statement made today’ by the Hon A. J. Murdoch (Minister of Agriculture) arrangements have been made for cheese instructors in the Dairy’ Division to confer this week at the Dairy- Research Institute, Palmerston North, on various questions relating to cheese manufacture. Some of the instructors have been in touch with experiments carried out there, but the latest arrangement will enable all of the officers concentrating on instruction work to become more closely acquainted with the activities of the institute concerning cheese, and also with the institute’s laboratorv tests of milk. The Minister states that the excelthe institute staff and th<? officer//] the Dairy Division should hclp to make the conference particularly - ' valuable, and further co-ordinate the work of dairy research and instruction.
