ON WAY TO^RICCARTON. (Special to the “Star.”) WANGANUI. August 5. The Winter Cup candidate. Knollmere, left en route for Riccarton today, in charge of W. If. Dwyer. Ilis final gallop before leaving was from the six furlong peg, on the outside of the course proper, the flags being some twenty feet out. The Grandcourt gelding, who was accompanied by All Humbug over the last three furlongs, finished well and ran the distance in Imin 20sec, his performance being a pleasing one
