THIRTEEN KILLED IN STORM IN POLAND.
LIGHTNING STRIKES SOLDIERS’ AMMUNITION. (Received June 20, 11.30 a.m.) WARSAW. June 19. A barn in the village Sierpce, in which twenty-four soldiers were sheltermg from a storm, was struck by lightning, and their ammunition exploded, killing six and wounding eighteen. Three children playing in the street were killed by the same stroke. Four were killed in a terrific storm in the Lodz district, where crops were ruined and live stock killed.
