GOOD FILMS AT CIVIC.
The management of the Civic Theatre cannot be accused of providing a nig-, gardly amount of entertainment for their patrons, as this week’s offering consists of a double feature programme in which numerous famous and popular stars make their appearance. The first picture, “ One Romantic Kight,” has the well-known Lillian Gish in the lead and is billed as her first talking picture. The film is an adaptation of Melville Baker's stage success, “ The Swan,” and calls for the very best from the players. A picture of a different type is “ Soldiers and Women.” in Avhieh dramatic situations abound. The story is unwound on the island of Haiti in the American Army’s encampment. Aileen Pringle, Grant Withers and Helen Johnson have the major parts and do admirable work.
