ARRANGEMENTS FOR PORT LEVY REGATTA.

A good deal of interest is being taken by Lyttelton yacht and motof*boat enthusiasts in the annual regatta to be held at Port Levy on Easter Monday under the auspices of the Canterbury Sailing and Power Boat Club. Special steamers will leave Lyttelton for the bay at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., and 10 a.m. The programme of aquatic events will commence at 10 a.m., with an auxiliary yacht race. The events will also include yacht races for the Field and Scott Memorial Trophies, two motorlaunch races, and ladies’, men’s and boys’ dinghy races. Trinity Hockey Club. At a meeting of the committee of the Trinity Hockey Club there were present:—Messrs J. Labudde (in the chair), C. Rogers, A. L. Graham, W. J. Pattison, E. Oakes, E. Radcliffe, A. Gough, L. Combes, R. Taylor and G. S. Pattison (secretary). The following Selection Committee was elected:— Messrs C. Rogers, G. Jones, and G. S. Pattison. The following were added to the Social Committee:—Messrs C. Rogers, A. L. Graham, D. M’Cormick, A. Gough, R. Taylor, and J. Labudde jun. The secretary was instructed to write to the Lyttelton Harbour Board and the Lyttelton Borough Council regarding playing matches on the reclamation area; also to the head master of the Borough School regarding the club assisting the schoolboys’ hockey team in travelling to Christchurch to play matches. The matter of utififtancial members was discussed and the following committee was set up to meet the members concerned:—Messrs J.

Labudde. sen.. C. Rogers. A. L. Graham. W. J. Pattison and G. S. Pattison. The following honorarv members were elected:—Messrs F Perham. R. Collins, R. Muxlow, L. Gower. P. Dale and T. Childs. It was decided to hold the first dance on April IS. Washburn Oup. The Lyttelton crew of Sea Scouts which will compete in the Washburn Cup contest at Wellington, will leave for the north tomorrow night.
