WEDDING.

MALCOLM—LEITCH. The marriage was solemnised yesterday afternoon at St Paul’s Church, Cashel Street, of Jessie Annie (Nan), eldest daughter of Mrs T. P. Penman, Brown’s Road, and the late Mr J. M. Leitch, and lan M’Lean, only son of the Hon A. S. Malcolm, M.L.C., and Mrs Malcolm, of Balclutha. . The Rev W. Bower Black officiated. The church was beautifully decorated with sweet peas, antirrhinums and Iceland poppies. The bride, who was .given away by Mr T. P. Penman, wore a dainty frock of powder-blue satin beaute, which fell in graceful folds to the ankles. The bodice -was made of lace to tone, and a satin coatee, dipping at the back, was finished at the waist with a diamente buckle. Her hat of blue felt to tone was trimmed with rucked velvet, and she carried a sheaf of cream lilies.

The bridesmaid, Miss Ruth Main, wore a pretty russet ninon frock patterned in tangerine shades, with a tight-fitting bodice and ankle-length skirt. Her felt hat, trimmed with tangerine chenille, toned with her frock, and she carried a muff on which was placed a posy of violets and maidenhair fern. The bridegroom was attended by Mr Alec Steven, cousin of the bride. After the ceremony a reception was held at Ballantyne’s, Mrs Penman, the bride’s mother, receiving the guests w’earing a figured panne velvet frock with a maize georgette yoke and collar and a three-quarter-length black georgette coat and ermine stole, and a black hat trimmed with panne velvet. Mrs A. S. Malcolm, mother of the bridegroom, wore a smart nigger-brown lace and georgette frock under a black satin coat and a black hat with a golden pheasant mount. When Mr and Mrs Malcolm left on their wedding tour, the bride wore a gunmetal-blue gaberdine costume with a hat to match and an oyster crepe de chine jumper and a leopardskin coat.
