*'The Gold Diggers of Broadway” is still fresh In the mind* of the Christchurch public, and Winnie Lightner, who took a part in that film, has not heen forgotten for her humour. In her latest talkie. “Life of the Party,” which is showing at the Regent Theatre this week, she has a part which suits her admirably. Fine work is done by the supporting artists. Numerous shorts snd comedy sketches go to make up a fine program me.
