TO-MORROW'S MATCHES.

Beckenham, at Canterbury—Maynard, O’Grady, Cox, Ives (a.); Angus, Taper, Cherry, Redpath <s.); Haggsr, G. Baker, Summers, Haworth Cs.). KAIAPOI TOURNEY. A progressive rinks tournament was held at the Kaiapoi Bowling Club’s green yesterday, when fourteen rinks, representing Canterbury, Opawa, Sunnyside, Rangiora, St Albans, Kaiapoi Working Men’s Club, Christchurch, Linwood, Heathcote and the Kaiapoi Club, took part in the games. After a very enjoyable day’s play, the Sunnyside, Linwood, Opawa, Canterbury and Kaiapoi Ho. 2 rinks tied with three games each, and the play off resulted in a win for the Linwood rink. The winning players were: W. Pree, A. Bennett, G. Dickson, A. Wilson (s.). A FRIENDLY MATCH. A friendly game of bowls was played on the St Albans green on Thursday afternoon between the members and staff of the Education Board and the St Albans Club, which resulted in a win for the home team by three games to two. Results, the board’s team mentioned first:—Brock, Johnson, Evans, Banka (s.) beat Murray, Harrison, Ken--dall, .Baldwin <s.) ; M’Leod, Bothwick, Raymond, Hutton <».), lost to Haydock, Hobbs, Callender, Henley <s.); Crawford, Preen, B. Penllngton, Gour <s.), lost to Farr, Crawshaw, Annet, Hayward (s.); Poison, Dane,. West, Goldstone Cs.), lost to Hall, Barker, Du Feu, Okey (s.); G. Penlington, Allison, Angus, Gagliardi (s.), beat Hebden, Hunt, Malpas, Renton (s.).
