Frederick Meadows, a gardener, aged fiftv-three years, was remanded by Mr H. P. Lawry, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court this morning to appear on Monday next on a charge of failing to comply with the terms of a maintenance order in respect of his wife. Arrears under the order amounted to £54 5s to June 1. 1926. Mr Jones, the maintenance officer, said that a fresh information had been laid bringing the arrears up to date.
