Aliss Betty Cotterill, Cashmere Hills, will leave to-morrow to spend a holiday v !th Airs Charles Rattray, Waimate. Miss Nancy Alinson, Winchester Street, is the guest of Airs J. F. Buchanan, “ Kinloch,” Little River. Aliss Enid Edgar-Jones, Timaru, is the guest of. Aliss Helen Rich, Cashmere Hills. Airs W. H. Clark and Aliss Margaret Clark, Bealey Avenue, will leave this week for a holiday at Havelock North, Air and Airs J. A. Steele and Aliss Steele, Melbourne, and Aliss Clouston, Blenheim, are staying at Warner’s Hotel. Airs Graham, Papanui Road, who has been visiting her daughter, Airs E. J. LeCren (Timaru), returned yesterday to Christchurch, accompanied by Airs LeCren. Air and Airs T. M. Charters and family and Airs David Bates and the Misses Isabel and Davina Bates will leave on January 13 by motor for a camping holiday on the Kaikoura coast. Sir Francis Colchester-Wemyss, K.8.E., of Ravensworth, Cheltenham, and Lady Colchester-Wcmyss, who are making a tour of the Dominion, will arrive in Christchurch to-morrow morning. They will spend a few days here, staying at Warner’s Hotel. Sir Edward and Lady Gibbs, Lower Hutt, are spending the January holidays with their daughter and son-in-law, Mr and Airs F. G. Thompson, at Paekakarilci. Sir Edward and Lad> Gibbs celebrated the fifty first year of their marriage at Chr.stiras.
