GAVE FALSE AGE TO GET LICENSE.

BRIDEGROOM COMMITTED TO THE SUPREME COURT. Per Press Association. GISBORNE, January 6. A young bridegroom who called at the Gisborne Police Station volunteered the information that he had made a false declaration at Gore for the purpose of procuring a marriage license. He was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence by the Magistrate to-day, his name being suppressed. Accused, having been unable to obtain her parents’ consent, gave the girl's age as twenty-one years and his own as twenty-two. Both were erroneous.
