CITY TO HONOUR SIR ARTHUR DOBSON
ARRANGEMENTS MADE FOR PUBLIC GATHERING
The citizens of Christchurch will have an opportunity on Friday of showing their appreciation of the honour conferred by the King on Sir Arthur Dudley Dobson. The Deputy-Mayor (Dr 11. T. J. Thacker), in the absence from the city of the Mayor, the Rev J. K. Archer, made arrangements to-day for a public gathering to be held in the City Council Chamber at noon on Friday, when tributes will be paid to Sir Arthur’s work for the city and the province. All citizens are cordially invited to be present.
