POPULAR TEAM APPEAR AT EVERYBODY’S MONDAY

To-night will see the final screening of the “Lone Star Ranger” at Everybody’s Theatre. The supporting programme includes a chapter of the serial “The Indians are Coming,” a comedy and a news reel.

Once again that immensely popular screen duo, Janet Gaynor and Charles Farrell, return to Christchurch in one of their greatest successes, “High Society Blues,” which commences at Everybody’s on Monday next. Since these fine artists gave an indication of their musical comedy talents in “Sunny Side Up,” their vast public has been eagerly waiting for their second venture along the same lines, and if patrons were delighted with the initial picture, they have an even deeper store of good things of comedy romance in “High Society Blues.” Five new song hits have been introduced into the picture, the most popular one l eing “I’m in the Market for You.” “High 3ociety Blues” is a delightful romantic comedy with music, directed by David Butler, who also produced “Sunny Side Up.” The cast includes William Collier, sen., Joyce Compton, Hedda Hopper, Louise Fazenda and Lucien Littlefield. The box plans will be at Everybody’s Theatre during thfe holidays.
