MAJESTIC THEATRE HAS "MAN TROUBLE" MONDAY
The interesting programme which has been showing at the Majestic Theatre during the past week will be screened for the last time to-night. It includes “Alias French Gertie,” a picture of the RlOl airship disaster and two clever comedies.
One of the most human as wtell as intensely interesting all-talking pictures has been produced by Fox Movietone in “Man Trouble,” which opens at the Majestic on Monday next. It has been described as a romantic drama, but it is more than that; it is, in many respects, a thriller, abounding in powerful dramatic situations. “Man Trouble” is the story of a girl who, tempted, coerced and harassed by men, fights back with a woman’s weapons for true love and happiness. Dorothy Mackaill plays the leading feminine role to perfection, while Milton Sills, fever a popular screen favourite, gives one of the best performances of his career. Sharon Lynn is charming in her characterisation of the cabaret singer, and the work of Roscoe Karns, Oscar Apfel, James Bradbury, and other members of the cast, is excellent. During the holidays the box plans will be at the Majestic.
