DANCE GIVEN TO AID GIRL GUIDE FUNDS.

The funds of the Girl Guides Association were assured of a large supplement when Mrs J. G. L. Vernon and Miss Bromley Cocks undertook the organisation of a dance in aid of the general funds. Last night proved how successful were their efforts, for the Merivale School Hall was filled to overflowing with happy dancers. A cheerful atmosphere of enthusiastic gaiety pervaded the hall. The Bailey-Marston Orchestra provided the music. Among those present were:—Mesdames J. G. L. Vernon, B. L. Blunden, W. H. Cowper, Keppel Aroher, E. J.
