TIMARU SOCIAL NOTES.
Mrs Feilden (Orton) is the guest of Mrs A. C. Wigley (“Ohau Lodge,” Park Lane) for a few days. Miss Rita Crowe (Geraldine) has left for the North Island to stay with Mrs William Shakespeare (Auckland). Miss Law is spending a few days with Mrs W. C. Burns (Church Street). Miss Renshaw (Dunedin) will leave to-day to spend a few days at Lake Tekapo. Mr and Mrs J. W. Fair iDouglas Street) are at present staying in Christchurch. Miss Glover will arrive from Auckland to-day, and will leave again for The Hermitage. Mr and Mrs W. H. Walton and Miss Dorothy Walton (Park Lane) will be guests at The Hermitage for Christmas. Miss Dorothy Raymond (Nile Street) arrived home yesterday after spending a few days with Mrs Paul Brodrick (Martinborough). Miss Olive Hassell (“Carshalton,” North Street), who has been the guest of her sister, Mrs Barrie Martin (Wellington), has returned to her home.
