LODGE HOLDS ANNUAL CHRISTMAS TREE PARTY.
The annual Christmas party tree arranged by the Ivy of Linwood Lodgfe, U.A.O.D.f- was hehi at the Showgrounds this - afternoon, when races were run off and children wore presented with toy* by Father Christmas. Despite the unfavourable weather, there was a large crowd of children and parents. The following are the results of the sports:— Girls' Races. Three Tears.—P. Keys 1, E. M’Koon 2, N. Dyer 3. Four -Tears.—P. Thompson 3, A. Donovan 2, B. Goode 3. Six Years.—D. Fleet* 1, T. M’Kearney 2, D. Hawes 3. Eight Years.—P. .lacksoil 1, P. Stafford 2, E. Kennedy 3. Ten Years.—M. Leccar 1, M'Clure 2. Twelve Yearn—G. Percy 3, S. Leccar 2, S. M’Keon S. Fourteen Year*.—O. M'Kenxie 1, N.*Percy 2, L. Skirton 3. Single Ladies.—Miss 1. M’Le&n 3. Mtss K. Griffiths 2. Married Ladies.—Mrs M’Kelp 1, Mrs Dick 2. Boys' Races. Three Years.—Skerton 1, Adams 2, Thorpe 3. Four Years.—R. Broadhurst 1, Rutledge 2, Wilkinson 3. Six Years.— Thorpe 1, Davidson 2, Thurlow 3.
