The market for ewes 1* steady and no material change is expected yet. The market is short of supplies of lamb and prices are nominal. The beef market is easier Trade will be affected by the holidays. Wethers, light 4Sd to 5Jd, hoary 4i<t to 4*d; ewes, 3d to 3gd; lambs, 2’» to Bld. Sd to 83d. 4’s 7*d to 7fd, seconds 7J.d to 73d; ox, hinds 4id to 6<3, fores 3id to 3 ld; cow, hinds 4d to 44d, fores 3d to 3.\d per lb.
