ITALY CUTS SALARIES OF CIVIL SERVANTS.

In. view of the deficit of £8,100,000 for the first four months of the financial year, all Government salaries from those of Ministers to clerks will be reduced from 12 to 35 per cent from December 1, but the prices of State services and products will be lowered.
