GERMAN SABOTAGE ALLEGED BY AMERICA.

ORATORICAL BATTLE AT THE HAGUE IS ENDED. THE HAGUE, October 1. The ten days’ oratorical battle over the United States claim for £6,000,000 against Germany for war-time sabotage in the United States has ended. Dr von Leninski, the German counsel, concluded his speech, which has lasted for five days, which has sought to prove Germany’s innocence and freedom from responsibility for sabotage while the United States was still neutral. The German and American commissioners have now departed for Hamburg, to consider minor claims and to endeavour to arrive at a decision regarding the Blacktown and Kingsland explosions. If they are unsuccessful they will submit the case to the umpire who sat with them.
