The - City Council intends carrying about 150 men on relief wori-c for the next five or six weeks, according to a report presented to the meeting of the Finance Committee of the Citizens’ Unemployment Committee to-day. It was stated that the Works Committee had guaranteed to employ not less than 100 men. The Reserves Committee had taken on 34 men and was prepared to employ another ten.
