N.Z. FARMERS WILL BROADCAST FROM TRAIN.

Wireless enthusiasts in search of new “stunts” will be able, it is hoped, to hear a unique broadcast next Sunday night. The Wellington correspondent of the “Star” states that, in connection with the New Zealand farmers’ tour of Australia, the New Zealand Railway Department has received cabled advice that the farmers’ party will broadcast from the observation car on the Reso train at 8 p.m. (Melbourne time—equivalent to 9.30 p.m. New Zealand time) on Sunday, July 13, through station 3LO (371 metres). Tt is believed that this will be the first broadcast from a moving train south of the Line.
