CHURCH MISSIONARY SOCIETY MEET.
At a meeting of the committee of the Church Missionary Society, the Rev E. C. W. Powell presided over a good attendance. Tentative arrangements were made for an all day Dominion conference of C.M.S. workers, to be held the day after the Church Congress, Wednesday, February 4. Arrangements were made for a missionary rally for three days, commencing on September 1 next, when three missionaries in New Zealand are expected to take part. The annual meeting of the society was fixed for August 4, when the Rev B. M. Taylor has been asked to speak. The. garden party to be held at Bishopscourt was fixed for Saturday, November 22. The report from the organising secretary showed that progress was being made and the report of the ladies’ committee was' presented.
