NEW LIFEBOAT WILL BE CHRISTENED TO-MORROW

The launching of the new. lifeboat, Rescue 11., will take place to-morrow afternoon at the boat harbour, Scarborough. A special service of dedication will be conducted by Archbishop Julius. The Mayoress, Mrs W. H. Nicholson, will christen the. boat. It is anticipated that the boat’s future work will probably be associated with aeroplane and seaplane work about the Estuary. In England £40,000 was recently spent to secure speedy lifeboat services as an insurance against accident in the daily air services between England and the Continent The ladies ot Sumner have shown great h-f erest in preparing for to-mor-row’s *vent, and there is every prospect of a large attendance from the city’ and country districts.
