SILVER WEDDING.

At their residence, Sails Street, Papanui, last week-end a reunion of relatives and friends of Mr and Mrs Reynolds Bell was held 4 to celebrate their silver wedding. Many presents were received by the happy couple. Mr R. W. Hawke, M.P., presided, and speeches were given by several of the guests. Musical items were given by Mrs Reeves, Miss Nellie Cooper and Mr Arthur Bell; elocutionary items by Helen Rule, Elsie Miles, Eric Cooper, Ivan Smith, Jeff and Neil Brandstater; and selections were given by Derry’s Military Band. Miss Nellie Burbery was accompanist.
