STREET COLLECTION IS HELD BY S.P.W.C.
The street collection held by the Society for the Protection of Women and Children yesterday resulted in approximately £92 for the society’s funds. This is an increase of £3O over the amount collected last year. The collection was organised from the Y.M.C.A. office under the direction of the Rev C. A. Fraer (president), Mrs F. E. Biltcliff (vice-president), Mr D. C. Burns (acting-treasurer). Miss E. A. de Veaux (assistant-secretary) and Miss Foley. Owing to indisposition, the secretary. Miss Cardale, was unable to attend. Among the collectors were; Mesdames J. K. Archer, Blackabv, IlooperM’Guffolk, Price, Madden, A. St Murray, B. Murray, Glen, • Cleaver, Berry, Misses E. Price, E. Gordon, Trent, E. Aitken. Tipping, Pyne, D.DDar,} r , Dunham, B. Bloxam, A. Thomson, Bills, Hoare, Collett, Gainsford. Claire Perry, Foley, de Veaux, Jewell, Betson, M. Foster and C. Bowen.
