DON REPORTS DAYTONA BEACH IN BAD STATE.

(United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) NEW YORK, April 2. Kaye Don made one round trip of the nine-mile beach course reaching 173.577 miles an hour on the south bound trip. He then gave up until conditions became more favourable, which will possibly be to-morrow. Kaye Don bumped a good deal to-day on the rough course, and reported that the beach was in such condition that great speed was unduly hazardous. Carburettor trouble again interfered slightly with the car's performance.
