APPEAL COURT HOLDS SITTING.

ASHBURTON LICENSING CASE COMES UP AGAIN. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, March 10. The Appeal Court—the Chief Justice (Sir Michael Myers), Mr Justice Herdman, Mr Justice Blair, Mr Justice Smith and Mr Justice Kennedy— met to-day and fixed dates for thirteen cases. The first case, which will not be heard till Thursday, is a motion for leave to appeal to the Privy Council in Scales v. Young, the Ashburton licensing case heard by the Appeal Court last September.
