LEAGUE TROUBLE. Asked this afternoon if he had iy comment to make regarding the asition that has arisen in Rugby eague circles, Mr E. L. M’Keon ild that the trustees were remainig silent until the legal proceedigs nad been concluded. The rnatrr hud been placed before the ufpreme Court. A writ hud been ssueci asking that the assets of the anterbury Rugby League Inc. hDuid be realised, and the rustees were going on with the rpceedings. “We want the matir threshed out, and we will abide the decision of the Court,” said Lp M’Keon. [He added that a large number of league players had made a request meet the trustees, and a confernice had been arranged to take lace to-night. This, however, had tithing to do with the executive. EGG AUCTION SALES. [Messrs Harris Bros., Limited, reart that the usual weekly auction ale of “ Feather Brand ” guaraneed fresh eggs was held this afernoon.
