A HARD PILL TO SWALLOW.

To the Editor. Dear Sir, I have been interested in the correspondence in your columns between G.R.8., “Credo in Deo," and Mr Peter Trolove (whom I have never had the pleasure of meeting, bub hope to). As an unbiased reader, I think the only qualification these two have lies,in their crass ignorance of the subject they have the effrontery to criticise, and admitted by both. “Credo m Deo ’ apparently also believes in Satan, a much harder pill to swallow than Spiritualism. The latter is sponsored by some of the greatest intellects in England, notably Sir A. Conan Doyle and Sir O. Lodge, and five million more deep-thinking people, believers in the cult. I had the privilege lately of hearing, at a cinema, an address broadcast by Sir Conan Doyle, and he concluded by saying, “I don’t say I believe in life after death, but I know it.” I would suggest to these two correspondents that they read Mr Denis Bradley’s fine book “The Wisdom of the Gods.” If after reading this they still continue to jeer at Mr Trolove, then I say they would not believe even though one rose from the dead.—l am, etc., A BELIEVER IN SPIRITUALISM.
