TENDERS are invited for the purchase during the year 1930 of the whole or any substantial portion of the output of bananas from Western Samoa on the following conditions:— (1) Purchase to be F. 0.8. Apia. (2) Purchaser will agree to ship by the Motor Vessel “MAUI POMARE," which at present carries a minimum of 6250 cases per ’voyagie from Western Samoa. (3) Price quoted to be per case, cash within fourteen days of acceptance at Apia. (4) Tenders to be for a specific number of cases by each voyage of the “MAUI POMARE” during 1930. (5) Bananas will be subject to Government inspection and will-;be placed alongside in fresh green condition, packed in “Fiji” cases to pass usual standard. (6> Purchaser will accept at Apia his full quota of such fruit by teach voyage of the “MAUI POMARE.” Tenders (which will be regarded as confidential) will be reoeived up to and including the 18th' December, 1929, and should be addressed to the Secretary,.
