Kaikorai left Sydney yesterday for Auckland. Kapc-nga, due here from South Australian ports on December 16, left Auckland yesterday for Portland, New Plymouth, Tarakohe, Wellington and Lyttelton. Kaiwarra, from Westport, may arrive at Lyttelton to-morrow with trade and bunker coal. From Lyttelton she proceeds to Timaru and Dunedin, to put out the balance of her cargo, Kaimanawa, from Dunedin, is due tomorrow to load for Auckland. John, from southern ports, Is expected here to-morrow to load for Wellington, New Plymouth, and Waikato. Holmdale arrived this morning from Timaru, and on completing her loading this afternoon proceeds to Wellington and Wanganui. Cygnet returned from Kaikoura this morning, and proceeds this evening to Kaikoura and Wellington. Storm, from Dunedin via Oamaru, was an arrival this morning. On loading she leaves for Wellington and Wanganui. PORT DARWIN DISCHARGING. The C. and D. motor-ship Port Darwin left Napier yesterday afternoon for Wellington, where she will continue her unloading of New York cargo. The vessel is due here on Friday, thence proceeding to Timaru and Dunedin. PORT HARDY LOADING. The Port Hardy was scheduled to leave Napier late last night for Gisborne to continue her loading for Halifax and London. She will also load at Tokomaru Bay and Auckland. MIN ARRIVES. Min, from New York, via Auckland and Wellington, arrived at Lyttelton this morning to discharge. THE KENT. The Federal steamer Kent is expected to make her departure from Lyttelton to-morrow for Port Chalmers, where she will continue discharging Liverpool COPTIC LEAVES LONDON. The S.S. and A. Company’s motojr liner Coptic left London on Monday for Suva, Auckland and Port Chalmers. Due Auckland January 16. THE CORNWALL. The Federal steamer Cornwall is due at Wellington to-morrow from Auckland to continue unloading Liverpool cargo. Lyttelton and Dunedin are the vessel’s next ports of discharge. CABLE STEAMER IRIS. The cable steamer Iris left Auckland yesterday morning for Tasman Sea to repair a cable break about 248 miles from Wellington. PORT DENISON FROM LIVERPOOL. The C. and D. line steamer Port Denison left Liverpool on December 9 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. Due at Auckland January 21. PLUME DUE FRIDAY. The Vacuum Oil Company’s tanker Plume, from San Pedro, is due at Lyttelton on Friday, via Auckland and Wellington, to discharge bulk motor spirits. TARANAKI TO LOAD. An arrival at Lyttelton this afternoon was the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company's liner Taranaki, from New Plymouth. The vessel will load wool and general cargo at Lyttelton. PORT CAMPBELL. The Port Campbell, at present discharging at Wellington, which was to have left on Friday for Australia, will now take the place of the Port Hnon, and will commence loading for Home at New Plymouth on December 17. CAMBRIDGE TO LOAD. The Federal steamer Cambridge is due at Auckland to-day to continue homeward loading. From there she is to go to Wanganui, Lyttelton and Wellington, to fill up, and she is announced to sail finally from the last-named port about the end of this month for London and West of England ports. PERSONAL. The Kairanga is being recommissioned

at Dunedin to-day. Captain S. Hewitt retains command of the vessel, and the following are his deck officers:—Chief, Mr J. A. Pearson; second, Mr S. B. Ward: third. Mr E. F. Rainbow. Captain M. Mackenzie is relieving Captain A. Murray of the Kiwitea at Sydney this week; Captain Murray is coming ashore for further instructions. Mr A. E. Rawlins is being appointed chief officer of the Kaiapoi this week, relieving Mr T. E. Sevan for further orders. Captain R. L. Davies, of the Kaitoke, is proceeding to Newcastle for holiday leave.
