SONG RECITAL.

In the Jellicoe Hall last evening a delightful song recital was given bv Miss Frances Hamerton, L.A.8., and her pupils, when some good vocal music was presented. Each half of the programme opened with choruses rendered by the choral class. The other items were as follow:—Songs: “Mifanwy” (Forster) and “The Pipes of Pan” (Monckton), Miss Jean M’Millan; “Se Pere Te Moro” (Alary), Miss Catherine terrier; “Love is Meant to Make us Glad” (German). Misses Marion Macpherson and Rheady Austen; “Liberty, Thou Choicest Treasure” (Handel), Miss Madel Eade: “An Eriskay Love Lilt” and “Pulling the Sea Dulse” (Fraser), Mrs J. Coe; “Sunset” (Grieg) and “The Gardener” (Wolf), Miss Nellie Billcliff; “Daisy Eyes” (Treharne) and “\h! How Delightful” (Reynolds), Miss Nellie Billcliff; “Sweet Kitty” (Williams; trio by Misses Mabel Eade,. Ella Chamberlain and Catherine Ferrier; “Non so Piu Corsa Son” (Mozart), Miss Mabel Eade; “Soft-Footed Snow” (Lie). Miss Catherine Ferrier; “Shepherd. Thy Demeanour Vary” (Wilson), Miss Frances Hamerton. The final number was three part songs, “Trip and Go” (Shaw). “Once Upon a Time” (Bantock) and “I Loved a Lass” (Bridge), sung by the choral class.
