Cygnet will load here on Monday for Kaikoura. She will return from Kaikoura on Wednesday morning to load for Kaikoura and Wellington. Holmdale loads at Lyttelton on Tuesday for Wellington and Wanganui. John is scheduled to load here on Wednesday for Wellington, New Plymouth and Waikato. Foxton loaded at Lyttelton yesterday and left last evening for Foxton. The vessel is due back on Friday next via Wellington. Storm, from Dunedin, via Oamaru and Timaru, is expected on Tuesday to load for Wellington and Wanganui. Calm, from Bluff, Dunedin and Timaru, arrived at Lyttelton this morning. The vessel is scheduled to return here on Thursday to pick up cargo for southern ports. Gale was despatched from Lyttelton last evening for Wellington, Picton and Wanganui. The vessel returns here on Wednesday on her way to Dunedin. The vessel will lie up at Port Chalmers for overhauling. Canopus should arrive here from Westport on December 22 with a. load of coal. The vessel will lie up about Christmas week to undergo her annual survey. It is not yet known whether she will lie up at Lyttelton or Port Chalmers. Kaiwarra should reach Lyttelton tomorrow from Westport with a part cargo of coal. The vessel will complete unloading at Timaru and Dunedin. Kahika loads at Lyttelton on Tuesday for Napier and Gisborne. Kaimanawa, from Dunedin direct, is due on Thursday to load for Wellington and Auckland. Wingatui, from Portland, via Wellington, is expected at Lyttelton on Wednesday with cement. Kurow will discharge Auckland and Wellington cargo at Lyttelton on Tuesday. From Lyttelton she proceeds to Timaru, Oamaru, Dunedin and Bluff to complete unloading. Totara is now due at Lyttelton on Tuesday from Tarakohe, via Timaru. The vessel, on discharging at Lyttelton, loads and proceeds to Wellington and New Plymouth. PROGRESS HAS FAST TRIP. The coastal steamer Progress, which arrived at Lyttelton about noon yesterday, put up a fast trip on the run to Lyttelton from Kaipara. The Progress left Kaipara at 3.30 a.m. on Wednesday. Shortly after leaving a northerly wind was experienced, and, with the help of her sails she made Lyttelton about twelve hours ahead of her scheduled time. The Progress will leave to-day for Wellington, Wanganui, New Plymouth and Waikato. ADVICE TO MARINERS. Captain C. M. Renaut, Superintendent for the Marine Department at Lyttelton, has received the following telegram from the Secretary of the Marine Department, Wellington:—“Notify shipping that alteration to Cape Egmont light will be made on Thursday, December 12, instead of Monday, December 9, as gazetted.” KENT DUE TO-MORROW. The Federal steamer Kent Is expected here to-morrow from Wellington to continue her unloading of general West of England cargo. From Lyttelton the vessel proceeds to Port Chalmers to complete unloading. CAMBRIDGE TO LOAD. The Federal steamer Cambridge, now at Gisborne, is due at Auckland on December 11 and Wanganui on December 17. The vessel should arrive here on December 21, and proceeds to Wellington on December 23 to complete. Her date of departure from Wellington for London and West of England ports is December 28. WAIPAHI FROM SUVA. On her return voyage to Auckland, the Union Company’s steamer Waipahi was to leave Suva yesterday. She is bringing a cargo of fruit for discharge at Auckland and at Lyttelton and Dunedin. GOLDEN CROSS COMING. The O. and O. Line steamer Golden Cross loft Los Angeles on November 30 with lumber, case oil and general cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington and Lyttelton. She is due at Auckland on December 26.
