SOLICITORS FINED FOR LATE AUDIT.
TWO PARTNERS WILL EACH PAY £SO. Per Press Association. * WELLINGTON, December 7. John Charles Carroll and J. P. Somers, solicitors, in partnership at Te Aroha, were each fined £SO and costs to-day for failure to have their trust accounts audited within the prescribed time. The penalty is the minimum, and was recognised as heavy by Mr Tudhope, Assistant Crown Solicitor, in view of the fact that the accounts were in order and that the case was one of pure procrastination.
