Captain Malcolm, left Peacock’s Wharf on Saturday afternoon, having on board * large number of excursionists for Akaroa. This place was reached after a four hours’ passage. The Maori left Akaroa at 4.30 this morning, and arrived at Lyttelton at 8.35. This is the first excursion of the season, and we learn that the Maori will make excursions on Boxing Day and New Year's Day to this port. The Maori is admirably adapted for these excursions, and we have no doubt that they will be largely patronised.
