PENNANT COMPETITION .COMMENCED TO-DAY.
Conditions were ideal this aftternoon for the commencement_of- play in the Christchurch Bowling Centre s Manning run nennant competition, which is being conducted under the same conditions as la Twenty-flve clubs have entered a total of 176 rinks for the competition. 704 nlavers taking part. The conditions provide for each club playing home and a wav games, points being awarded according to the percentage of wins secured by each club.
