MANY VISITORS GO SOUTH TO GLACIERS.

(Special to the “Star.”) HOKITIKA, October 26. A number of residents left to-day for the trotting meeting at Greymouth. Many excursionists have gone to the glaciers for the week-end. A party of six left for South Westland to-day. They will return on Tuesday. The only holiday event here on Monday is the speed-boat racing at Lake Kanieri.
