ST ALBANS TENNIS CLUB DANCE
A successful dance was held in the St Albans Tennis Club’s pavilion on Saturday. Miss Tillyshort’s orchestra provided the music. The committee consisted of Misses D. Hassall, W. Tait. R. Broughton, Messrs W. Wade, E. Hartle and L. Broughton. Among the ladies present were:— Mrs J. H. Clark, Misses M. George, Madge Brocklehurst. Moyra Free, Wynne Tait, Doris Hassall, Christine Tait, F. Moir, Valmai Millar, Lina Cooper, J. Seabrook, Joyce Wareing, Florence Long, Lorna Broadway. Ruth Dudley, Winnie Andrew, Billie Strachan, Leslie Laurenson, Ella Murray, Jaine Murray, Una Kissel, Jean Henry, Shirley James, Rhona Boswell, Rene Pedder, Florence Nicholls, Gwendoline Carter, Saidee Manchester, Eileen FitzHenry, Mollie Caverhill, Ethel Wood, Gwen Morrison, Margaret Peate, Winnie Broughton, Joan M’Leod, Margaret Talbot, Ranee Broughton, Joyce Grant, Nancy Green, Daphne Brass.
