This morning, in the V .M.C.A., the boys’ gymnastic class gave a display to a small attendance of the public. All the gymnastic classes were thrown open to the public during Health Week, but the attendances throughout were disappointing. An open air meeting in connection with Health Week will be held on the football ground in North Hagley Park to-morrow at 3.30 p.m. Derry’s Military Band will parade at Victoria oquare at 2 pjn. and will play two marches and will then proceed down Armagh Street to the platform inside the park. The band will play several marches, interspersed with popular hymns, which citizens are invited to join in singing. Short addresses on health subjects, the necessity for outdoor life, will be delivered by the Peputy-Mayor (Dr 11. T. J. Thacker), the Rev A. M. Niblock and Mr A. M’Lachlan. A collection will be taken up in connection with Health Week expenses.
