Instructions have been received by the Christchurch office of the Labour Department from the Head Office in Wellington not to announce the daily unemployment registrations at the Government Labour Bureau. In future, this information will be telegraphed each day to Wellington and a statement issued by the committee of Cabinet dealing with the unemployed question.
