RICHMOND NOTES.
LILY OP RICHMOND LODGE _ Bro R. A. Marsh, Arch-Druid, presided over a large gathering of brethren at the fortnightly meeting of the Lily of Richmond Lodge. P.D.P. Bro Cooke reported that the jumble sale held recently was a great success and £9 10s was received to erect a cycle stand. The Lodge team, which won the teams’ ritual competition promoted by the Royal Arch Chapter, was accorded hearty congratulations on its success
It was recommended to the Hall Committee that they proceed with the erection of the cycle stand, and repair and paint the hall. A hearty welcome was given to Bro Cooke, of the Ivy of Linwood, who was a visitor to the Lodge. Two candidates were proposed for initiation. The Lodge will open at 7 p.m. next Wednesday, and at the conclusion of business the brethren will entertain the brethren of the Trafalgar Lodge, Kaiapoi. The meetings of the Lodge are well attended and the enthusiasm of the members maintained with splendid results. The Lodge has now 250 financial members.
