A meeting of the St. Paul’s Young People’s Guild was held on Thursday, October 3, at Mr L. R. Corsbie’s house. The president reported matters were well in hand for the “Tree Party” to be held in Mr Corsbie’s garden on November 2. The final details were left in the hands of the committee to arrange and will appear later in these columns. The guild is fortunate in having secured the services of Mrs E. C. Lewey to act as judge for the “ Football Hat Trimming” competition which will form a novel and amusing feature of the afternoon.
