MOUNT PLEASANT TENNIS, BOWLING AND CROQUET CLUB HOLDS MEETING.

The fourth annual meeting of the Mount Pleasant Tennis, Croquet and Bowling Club was held at Mr Arthur Morten's residence. Mr Thomas presided over a fair attendance of members. The-annual report and balance-sheet showed the club to be in a satisfactory position. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—President, Mr A. R. V. Morten, vice-presidents, Messrs H. Worrall, A. G. Williams and W. De Thier; honorary secretary, pro tern, Mr P. Scott; honorary treasurer, Mr C. Edmonds; club captain, Mr C. Hodge; vicecaptain, Miss Riley; auditor, Mr S. A. Mander; committee, Mrs Edmonds, Messrs Thomas and Page. It was decided to proceed with the laying down of four new croquet lawns.
