BOUNTY TO BE GIVEN FOR WILD PIG SNOUTS.

(Special to the “Star.”) WELLINGTON, October 11. The Commissioner for State Forests, the Hon W. Taverner, announces that the question of wild pig destruction was recently considered by Cabinet, which of a 7 i jsrild pigs destroyed, the snouts for ml wild pigs destroped, the snouts from which are produced as evidence of destruction. Simultaneously, experimental shipments of wild pig hides are being organised to test their commercial properties for fine leather work. The overseas and forest service will be pleased to hear from any hunters prepared to collect and submit consignments.
