COATS TAKEN FROM CLOTHING FACTORY.

Thieves broke into the premises of the Christchurch Clothing Factory at 241, St Asaph Street some time between 5.30 p.m. yesterday and 7.30 a.m. to-dav, and stole overcoats to a total value of £9. Entrance was gained by forcing a side-door, which leads into the workroom. The side door is in a lane that opens into a yard, and this, in turn, opens into Allen Street. The door was forced open by the thieves by thrusting their feet against the lower panels. The overcoats stolen were not finished. being minus buttons and buttonholes.
