E. T. C. Leys, the Wellington Varsity half-back, left for Sydney yesterday to join the All Black team. Leys was considered very unlucky by many critics in failing to be selected for the team before it sailed. He played for Wellington against Taranaki on Wednesday, and also represented the New Zealand Varsity team against the Australian Varsity team.
