DRIVER CONVICTED; LICENSE CANCELLED FOR 12 MONTHS.
(Special to the "Star.”) WELLINGTON, July 6. Thomas Corcoran, aged thirty-five, an ex-railway bus driver, who had a collision recently with a stationary car in Thorndon Quay, was yesterday convicted of being drunk in charge of a bus, and was fined £2O and costs. His driving license was cancelled for twelve months.
